In the vernacular of Humaculture®, when we “feed the soil, not the plant” we actually see the “plants” (employees) thrive in ways that tend to elude us when we are almost solely focused on the “plants” and fail to understand how important healthy “soil” really is. Fertilizing the plant in an unhealthy soil may lead to some success, but not the sustained success created by healthy “soil.”
